Users are spending less time online these days. According to the latest report from We Are Social, the average time spent online has fallen by 2.2 % and on social networks by 2 %. Despite this, the number of users continues to rise, with growth of 2.1 % on the Internet and 3.7 % on social networks.<\/p>
In terms of devices, the use of smartphones rose slightly (+0.8 %), while that of personal computers (-3.4 %) and tablets (-7.8 %) fell.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The report reveals that 5.19 billion people will be using the Internet in July 2023, representing 64.5 % of the world's population. In France, 92.6 % of the population use the Internet. However, 92.6 % of South Sudanese do not have access to the Internet, making it the country with the highest rate of non-connection, with the exception of North Korea where the Internet is banned.<\/p>
On average, users spend 6 hours and 40 minutes a day on the Internet worldwide, while in France the average time is 5 hours and 25 minutes a day. Around 27.7 % of internet users aged 16 to 64 say they discover brands through advertising on social platforms.<\/p>
